The U.S. Congress approved the allocation of Ukraine $250 million on security

The house of representatives of the U.S. Congress approved the allocation of $250 million on security in Ukraine. This decision was taken during consideration of amendments to the draft on the budget for the 2019 financial year. This is stated in the message of Embassy of Ukraine in USA.

Of the $250 million $50 million should be directed to lethal means of arms, underlined in the message. Earlier this month the Pentagon approved the allocation of Ukraine $200 million for the purchase of military equipment and military training. 2014 military assistance to Ukraine from the United States amounted to approximately $1 billion, said the Ministry.

In March 2018, the US administration has approved the delivery of Ukraine, 210 anti-tank Javelin and 37 launchers for $47 million
