In ATOR told about the fate of the visa application centres

MOSCOW, 27 Jun — RIA Novosti. The Association of tour operators of Russia has denied reports about the possible closure of all the Russian visa centers.

Earlier in the state Duma introduced a bill on mandatory accreditation, the companies operating visa application centres. In the Russian Union of travel industry noted that the six largest companies do not meet the new requirements, which will lead to closing all visa centers in Russia.

In ATOR explained that the largest operators of the visa application centres meet most of the criteria outlined in the draft regulations: almost all of them working in Russia for more than three years, have branches in the regions and the necessary equipment.

“The main stumbling block can become territorial identity of legal entities, or rather the share of foreign capital in the Charter capital of the company”, — reported on the organization’s website.

However, in the case of the bill, the company will be able to re-register in accordance with the new requirements and continue to work on the territory of Russia, experts of the Association.

ATOR also expects that the real draft resolution of the government will undergo changes after consultation with the tourist industry.
