Supporter of ISIS sentenced to life imprisonment for plotting the assassination of Prince George

Moscow. July 13. INTERFAX.RU the Briton was in the telegram for channel tips for lone-wolf terrorists.

A supporter of the banned terrorist group ISIS in the UK sentenced to life in prison for plotting the assassination of four Prince George’s, said on Friday Sky News.

To spread their ideas the 32-year-old unemployed web designer Husnain Rashid used a secret chat in Telegram.

In it he, in particular, has published the name and address of school in which the student is the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as distributing calls for attacks on George and the other members of the Royal family.

He also prepared a manual for lone-wolf terrorists called “the Lone Mujahid”.

Rashid shared with readers a variety of practical considerations. In particular, after the terrorist attack at the Vodafone stadium in Istanbul, he was asked to choose a stadium in Britain, suitable for the next attack. On another occasion he published a map of Sixth Avenue with the caption “a Parade in honor of Halloween in new York. Are you prepared? The countdown has begun.” As one of the targets for assassination he suggested the Myanmar Ambassador in great Britain (in connection with news about the oppression of Muslim Rohingya in the country).

The investigation also revealed that Rashid was in contact with terrorists ISIS wanted to travel to Syria to join the militants.

He was arrested in November at his home in Lancashire; initially pleaded not guilty, but later confessed that he actually urged people to commit acts of terrorism and joining ISIS.
