Most of the guests are Russian weddings feel a sense of shame — the study showed “my Friend”
According to the study, people on the Russian wedding, often feel uncomfortable. While the older generation wants to celebrate it “traditionally”, the youth tends to make it fashionable, but the sense of rejection and shame appears in people and the “trendy” holidays, and even relatives.
“I last year came to the birthday to a good friend, and there are other guests decided to play crocodile, — says Denis. — I didn’t want to, but they insisted and said I do not respect them. Some of it was true. In the end, everything played, and I sat in the middle and suffered”. These wedding stories in Russia are not uncommon.
Russian festive rituals can be called violent. Anthropologists distinguish two main mechanisms festive coercion. The first ritual, the “senior” priests who look to tradition strictly enforced. The second — in fact, the usual baiting, as in any team, when the majority is asserting itself at the expense of the victim.
“We took all our hatred and evil, transferred to the victim, destroyed, and now we are full of joy and mutual love in a strong and friendly team, says analyst Arthur Cremin. On the holidays, it works; everyone can see that he’s embarrassed, and happy. A couple of people attack the others look. The rest like not very, but a victim they don’t want to be, and even a little fun.”
Such arrangements wedding sadism include jokes about the external data of guests, age, food, sexual and other preferences. Cultural anthropologist Mikhail Okunev explains that “”the Jokes relate to the age, weight, clothing, because leading meets strange people, and he needs to consolidate them, to entertain, and all you listed in question unites us all without exception and without error.”
