Defense Ministry issued a map of the plan “Barbarossa”
The Ministry of defence has published historical documents telling about the first battles of the great Patriotic war.
Among them the first Soviet combat order of war and captured German map of the plan “Barbarossa”.
“Site visitors will be able to see the declassified archival documents of the first days of the great Patriotic war: the directives of NKO, orders and reports of commanders of military units and formations of the first to receive the blow of the German troops, premium papers with descriptions of feats and the first decrees of the country’s leadership on awarding orders and medals to officers and enlisted personnel of the red Army”, — is spoken in the message.
Earlier, the Russian Ambassador to the USA Anatoly Antonov laid a wreath at a memorial plate “spirit of the Elbe” in Washington.
