The state Duma has raised the duty on the international passport of the new generation

MOSCOW, 19 Jul — RIA Novosti. The state Duma adopted a law to increase the state duty for issuance of passports of new generation with electronic media up to 5 million from 3.5 thousand rubles.

The state duty for issuance of a passport of a new generation of child under 14 years increased to 2.5 thousand to 1.5 thousand rubles.

The law also establishes the state duty for state registration of vehicles and committing other registration actions connected with the issuance of the certificate of the new generation, constructed of materials on a plastic basis, in the amount of 1.5 thousand rubles. The state duty for issuing national driving licences of the new generation of plastic is set in the amount of 3 thousand rubles.

The same fees will apply in case of receipt of such documents to replace lost or degraded.

The law should come into force after one month from the day of its official publication. The increase in state fees will direct to the Federal budget of the order of 42.3 billion rubles per year, which offsets most of its costs of creating the infrastructure for the introduction of documents of new generation, estimated at 44.2 billion rubles, said earlier RIA Novosti the Chairman of the budget Committee Leonid Simanovsky.
