In new York held the traditional mermaid Parade (photos)

The carnival procession has been held for 36 years.

Summer in new York begins not with the first of June, and from that moment on Coney island will be a Parade of mermaids. This colourful celebration is a traditional and this year it was the 36th time.

The mermaid parade is the largest art parade in the country and one of the main summer attractions of Brooklyn. To take part in the procession can be anyone, but because every year more and more people come to new York for the carnival not only from other States but from around the world.
