The Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow at session on June 29 will decide the fate of the $2 million that the CEO of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin during the operational experiment gave at that time the Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev as a bribe. In addition, the court received the petition of protection ex-the Minister on removal of arrest from its property in connection with the payment of the court-appointed penalty of 130 million RUB.

In December 2017, the Zamoskvoretsky court found speaker guilty of receiving $2 million in bribes from Sechin and sentenced the former official to eight years in the colony, also appointed 130,43 million rbl. of the penalty. The Moscow city court on 12 April slightly changed the sentence, excluding the prohibition to work in state agencies.

According to the verdict, to the payment of a fine Ulyukaev he owned property (land, house, car, Bank accounts and other assets) will be under arrest.

For the case, $2 million in cash to transfer Ulyukayev as bribes provided acquaintance of the head of the security service of “Rosneft” Oleg Feoktistov. All the evidence in the case, in addition to cash, namely, the bag in which the money was transferred, and a gift basket of “Rosneft” with sausages and wine, were destroyed. After the sentence comes into force, was to destroy the dry swabs from the hands of the speaker, CDs, which depicted the meeting of the ex-Minister Sechin, flash map, details of the connections of the former official, seized documents and correspondence.
