The head of EMERCOM in Kemerovo region dismissed
Moscow. June 4. INTERFAX.RU — Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed the chief of GU Ministry of emergency situations of the Kemerovo region Alexander Mamontov.

Mammoths have previously submitted a letter of resignation.
The former head of EMERCOM in Kemerovo region is involved in the case about a fire in shopping centre “Winter cherry” in Kemerovo, he was accused of negligence (part 3 of article 293 of the criminal code) and embezzlement (part 4 of article 160 of the criminal code) and sent under arrest. Mamontov himself did not admit guilt.
According to investigators, the Mammoths did not plan and did not check, starting in 2017, observance of requirements of fire safety at operation of shopping centre “Winter cherry”. Additionally, we revealed the involvement of the mammoth and other yet unidentified persons for embezzlement of funds of the regional emergency Department for the sum about 2 million roubles.
