Named the country with the worst roads in the world

MOSCOW, 4 Jul — RIA Novosti. A list of countries with the worst and best roads in the world according to the global competitiveness Index 2017-2018.

The list includes 137 countries. The quality of the roads was estimated on a scale of one to seven, with none of the States scored the highest.

The worst roads were in Mauritania, which received two points exactly. It is followed by Democratic Republic of Congo and Haiti, scored 2.1 points. Fourth and fifth places from Madagascar and Guinea respectively, the roads of both countries was estimated at 2.2 points. This is followed by Yemen (2.3 points), Paraguay (2.4 points), Ukraine (2.4 points), Mozambique (2.5 points) and Moldova (2.5 points).

The best in the ranking recognised the United Arab Emirates (6.4), Singapore (6.3 points), Switzerland (6.3 points), Hong Kong (6.2 points), Netherlands (6.1 points), Japan (6.1 points), France (six points), Portugal (six points), Austria (six points), USA (5.7).

Russia also made the list and was on 114 place, however, the ranking indicated that the Russian roads have seen improvement trend.
