North Korea has threatened to refuse participation in the summit with the United States
Pyongyang, may revise the agreement on the summit with Washington if the Americans will continue to exert pressure. This was stated by first Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs Kim Gye-Gwan.
According to him, North Korea is not interested in negotiations that require the denuclearization of the Peninsula unilaterally. “We have no choice but to reconsider the question of whether to give consent to a summit with the United States” — quoted by TASS statement the North Korean diplomat.
Pyongyang has canceled scheduled for may 16 talks with Seoul since last Friday started the us-South Korean military exercises. DPRK authorities believe that these exercises “are a blatant challenge Panmunjom Declaration and deliberate provocation.”
