The Russians have more freedom of movement

According to the updated index of passports from Henley & Partners, Singapore and Japan have better visa-free access to other countries and went to Germany, passports which for several years provided the most freedom to move around the world. Russia has also improved its performance, holders of Russian passport can visit without a visa for 114 countries and territories worldwide, of which 4 — Rwanda, Brunei, the Territory of GUAM and the Northern Mariana Islands — added to the beginning of the year.

The index is updated passports in the world said the previous rating, issued by the consulting company Henley & Partners in the beginning of the year. Although it’s been less than two months, the index has undergone significant changes. Many of the participants had either maintained or improved performance indicators the number of countries and territories where their citizens can visit without a visa.

Germany, which for several years remained the leader of the ranking, from January list of countries visa-free visits increased from 177 to 179. But it did not help her to remain in first place in the index.

Leaders in February were Singapore and Japan passport providing visa free access in record number of countries and territories 180.

In third place, with visa-free access in 178 countries is Denmark, Spain, Italy, Finland, France, Sweden and South Korea.

The four countries which were added in February, is Brunei, Rwanda, the Territory of GUAM and the Northern Mariana Islands.
