Norway invests $13 million in “doomsday vault”

Svalbard global seed vault — a large ice refrigerator on the Spitsbergen archipelago, which holds about 900 thousand seeds in case of global catastrophes.

The Norwegian authorities are going to invest in the Svalbard global seed vault on the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard about $13 million according to The New York Post.
