Norway invests $13 million in “doomsday vault”

The Norwegian authorities are going to invest in the Svalbard global seed vault on the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard about $13 million according to The New York Post.
“As part of the update of the world semenaxreview will construct a new concrete tunnel, which will provide access to storage and service building, which will house the emergency power supply system, freezing and other electrical equipment, which will heat tunnel,” — said in the Ministry of agriculture of Norway.
The modernization of the “doomsday vault” was required, because at the end of 2016 at the entrance to the complex was discovered melt-water.
