In Tunisia detained the ship with weapons from Russia
The Tunisian authorities have detained the ship with military equipment and ammunition emerging from the port of Novorossiysk. This is reported by the Maritime Bulletin and the Agency Agenzia Nova.
According to the Maritime Bulletin, the ship Ural under the flag of Panama were headed to Cameroon. The operator of the ship — the Turkish company.
In the Tunisian port of Sfax, the ship arrived for repairs. On examination, the customs found 24 containers with infantry fighting vehicles, bulldozers, military uniforms, radios and equipment for satellite communications, writes Agenzia Nova.
The Agency claims that authorities are checking the crew for involvement in terrorism.
Maritime Bulletin calls the Ural strange route: it crossed the Ionian sea, which is not required, if you go to Cameroon, then came to the coast of Libya, then went to Sfax. Agenzia Nova also writes that this route has raised suspicion in Tunisia.
