Patriarch Kirill unveiled the key mission of the girls
The Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia, Kirill said that the main mission of women — the birth of children and their subsequent churching, RIA Novosti reported.
Ideal young life should be family, says the Patriarch, “Is, of course, not the only ideal. But this is special ideal for girls who have clearly realized that the establishment of family, birth of children, their churching, parenting is a God defined for them by the mission, above which there is nothing.”
According to Cyril, technology, education, and comfort level make it possible for women to combine the care of the family including those with professional activities.
Previously, researchers at HSE have studied the lives of workers and their wives in Moscow and in the small towns of Vladimir and Vologda regions and came to the conclusion that most of the men shift the responsibility for child rearing on women, while denying the idea about their career fulfillment. As noted in the HSE, it is considered the prerogative of women “create comfort”, but in reality many of them have to work a “double shift” to provide for the family.
