BEIJING, February 9 — RIA Novosti. Chinese fifth generation fighter “Jian-20” (J-20) was adopted by the air force of the country, reports on Friday the Central television of China.
At the request of the Chinese air force, obtaining the armament of the new fighter will help the country’s armed forces to better ensure the safety of its airspace, safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
China introduced the “Jian-20” to the public two years ago in the framework of the international aerospace show Airshow China in 2016 in Zhuhai (Guangdong province). In addition to “Jian-20”, China is developing another fifth generation fighter aircraft — the “Jian-31” (J-31).
