Not your body: why do men need to change the view of women

Why is a woman not a sex object? Seems like a strange question for this site (Playboy).

Where else draw a parallel between a woman and have sex than to the Playboy website? But no, Playboy is the best place to ask this question.

Let’s look at models playmates, it’s always nice. Beautiful girl. They have different shapes. Different types. Cup size. They come from different countries. They have different skin colors. Different age. They all share one thing — they are attractive women. We want to look at them. They have a sexy appearance. She draws. Around models Playboy always a special atmosphere of relaxation and enjoyment. We see a naked female body that stimulates and excites us. All the long history of Playboy was built around this atmosphere of sex and pleasure.

And like it seems logical, that if a girl flaunting her sexuality and creates around itself an aura of pleasure, it can be seen as a sex object.

Once posed for a candid photo shoot — it means he wants sex. We have to admit that the way we often think.

And here’s the problem — naked female body is not equal to the intention to have sex. When a girl is trying on sexy lingerie for the photo shoot, she does not provoke those around you to have sex with her. She just wants to show their beautiful body in a beautiful photo shoot.

The same is true in everyday life. When a girl wears a mini, deep neckline bodycon dress — she doesn’t provoke anyone for sex.

It should not work this way. Yes, we can bring that kind of blatant sexuality. Yes, we may want to have sex with her and even to represent to myself the process. But it is our problem, which should not touch the woman, her motivation and her requests. They can be anything. It is her right to be as forthcoming as it deems fit.

This Puritanism and pure Patriarchy is to restrict the girl manifestation of her sexuality, to put her rules that her naked body to arouse male sexual desire, and, hence, provokes sex. And so, or even if all women are covered and remain humble or we men will never meet.

So in fact it was in the past era. In nineteenth century Paris. the man could accuse a woman that she provoked his abuse, the fact that they were dressed too openly flirtatious, and he smiled. For such behavior, a woman could go to jail.

In fact, the man could rape her, and this was to blame the woman. This is absurd, still sounding in the review, originally just one of those times.

The man always successfully dominated over the female body, creating a comfortable only rule for it. The woman has always played the role of a slave — she had to restrict myself in everything, meant that any overt action would be considered entrapment. Her body and her sexuality is a provocation.

But it’s wrong! You don’t want to short-skirt your sister or daughter was to other men, the reason for the harassment. You don’t want a society passed sentence of your cousin, “She provoked the man! It is my fault!”This is stupid and unfair. We men fully understand how it actually works. We’ll use this outdated reason as justification for their actions. Not the most appropriate and most worthy of action.

Everything! Forgot that the naked female body is still a provocation for sex. It is a relic of past ages when I was or nuns, which covered every part of the body, or girls from a brothel who are parading it around.

This, of course, does not mean that men should now be around women party and to be afraid once again to look at them. Everything is exactly the opposite. No one limits us as to the intentions. Combating sexual harassment is a struggle with inadequate actions and their consequences. The fight against coercion, blackmail. With the wrong settings. No one forbids us to want women to have the intention to have sex with them. Any sex. The only question that we have to learn for yourself what our potential partner is equal to us. No look from the bottom up — that was it.

If we like a woman, if we want it — we must try to please her. To be adequate and normal. To be attractive. To be interesting. And then there will be issues and problems. Will love, sex and pleasure. Mutual, not unilateral.

At a rally against the trump-Emily Ratajkowski was carrying a poster with a quote from a popular writer Naomi wolf.

The enemy is not lipstick. The enemy is guilt. And we deserve lipstick, if we want it, and freedom of speech. We deserve to be sexual and serious, any what you want.
