“This year on February 23, Fatherland defender’s Day falls on Friday and with the weekend, Saturday 24 February and Sunday 25 February, it turns out three-day vacation. Thursday, February 22, as the working day preceding the holiday, will be reduced by an hour,” said on Friday “Interfax” the Deputy head of the Federal service for labour and employment Ivan Shklovets.
Two weeks later the Russians will have 4 days off in a row in connection with the celebration of International women’s day, reminded the Deputy Minister. “On March 8 this year falls on a Thursday, and the gap between this day and the weekend will be closed due to transfer of days from January 6 to March 9, Friday. This will allow you to relax for 4 days, from Thursday, March 8 through Sunday March 11, inclusive”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
Wednesday, March 7, as the pre-holiday working day will be shorter by an hour, said Shklovets.
