In Egypt build a new capital
In Egypt began the construction of government facilities for the new administrative capital. This was stated by the head of the project Ahmed Zaki Abdin.
According to him, the office of the Egyptian President and the government of the Arab Republic will move to the new capital over the next year and a half.
“Government agencies in the new administrative capital will move within 18 months, this applies to the presidential office, the Cabinet of Ministers, and Parliament”, — quotes the words of Abdeen Agency MENA.
The plan of Egypt for the construction of new administrative capital in the desert 45 kilometers East of Cairo announced in March 2015, Minister of housing Mustafa Madbouli.
The need for construction due to the overpopulation of the current capital of Egypt. The cost of the first phase of the project will amount to $45 billion, and according to initial plans of the Egyptian government it should be implemented by 2020.
