Pro-Kurdish group in the terminal of departure held a spontaneous rally against Turkish military operations in Northern Syria. Protesters confronted Turkish passengers, and the fight began. As a result, two people were slightly injured. To break up the fighting, police used pepper gas. According to the newspaper Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung, the fight was attended by about 180 people.
Recall, January 20, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the launch of “operation Olive branch” against Kurdish forces in Northern Syria. It happened because of non-Kurds an ultimatum: within a week to move from their current position.
