Students 25 Jan waiting for free tour of the Ostankino TV tower
Discount on admission for all students in Tatiana’s day will be 55 percent and the guide will be free.
More than a dozen free tours will meet at the Ostankino TV tower for students on Tatiana’s day.
They will visit the viewing platform overlooking the telecentre “Ostankino”, business center “Moscow city”, exhibition center and other city attractions. The tours will be conducted from 12:00 to 21:00. The participants will gather on the first floor in the lobby. One walk a guided tour up to 20 people.
“We invite all students in Tatiana’s day to visit the Ostankino TV tower. Tickets for them will cost 450 rubles. And the excursion on this day will be free. The cost of an organized tour is three thousand roubles, and the entrance ticket to visit the Ostankino tower excluding benefits costs one thousand rubles”, — told in Department on public relations and mass-media of branch of the Russian television and radio broadcasting network “Moscow regional center” (Ostankino tower).

In celebration Tatiana’s day at the Ostankino tower will include a visit to the 85-th level, which opened to the public last spring. On the observation deck will be one of 21 Meteora giant prop with a sensor that measures the direction and speed of wind, temperature and humidity.
In the evening on the observation deck will sound music performed by a DJ, a coffee shop and restaurant complex “the Seventh sky” the students will be able to get a free sweet treat.
25 January is celebrated as the Day of Russian students. Also on this day revere the early Christian Martyr Tatiana of Rome, patroness of students and the largest Russian University — Moscow. On this day in 1755 the Empress Elizabeth signed a decree on the establishment of this institution.
Ostankino TV tower began broadcasting on 5 November 1967. Was then put into operation the first phase of construction began on four television and three radio channels. In 1967, the tower of the transmitted signal at a distance of 120 kilometers.
