MOSCOW, January 3 — RIA Novosti. The Israeli Parliament (the Knesset) approved in a preliminary reading a bill on the death penalty to terrorists.
“A majority of 52 votes to 49, the Knesset Plenum approved in a preliminary reading a bill on the death penalty to terrorists,” — said in a statement on the official website of the Parliament.
It is noted that for the sentencing of the death penalty for terrorist acts will require the unanimous decision of the judges, but will be enough of a majority of the judges of each court.
Such a sentence cannot be waived or commuted.
