Media: United States refused to provide the Pakistan financial aid
WASHINGTON, 2 Jan — RIA Novosti. The U.S. government has decided to provide Pakistan $ 255 million that they were going to list that country on the fight against terrorism, said on Monday, Fox News channel, referring to the representative of the national security Council (NSC) at the White house.
According to him, “at the moment the US does not plan to provide Pakistan $ 255 million that was scheduled in the program of foreign military aid, in 2016 financial year.”
As noted by the representative of the NSS, “the President (of the USA Donald trump) made it clear that the United States expect Pakistan’s decisive action in combating terrorists and militants on the ground.”
He also drew attention to the fact that the actions of Islamabad in this direction “will define the relationship between the two countries, including in the provision of assistance related to safety”.
As stressed by the representative of the NSS, the administration trump “will continue to assess the level of cooperation with Pakistan.”
Earlier, trump wrote on Twitter that the United States has sent in aid to Pakistan, but Islamabad did not help in the fight against terrorism and harboring of militants from Afghanistan. The American leader has promised that it will not happen.
