Belgium prepared for a hurricane wind
Moscow. 2 Jan. INTERFAX.RU Royal meteorological Institute of Belgium announced orange threat level of consequences of disaster across the country in the night of Wednesday.
As explained by the Belgian media, “orange degree” indicates that it is expected “a very strong wind with gusts even greater power.”
“Wind speed and gusts will be extremely stressed just above the ground. A very strong wind with gusts makes it difficult to walk, trees to wobble, but the biggest of them can fall, can also break off large branches, and is not excluded serious damage to residential buildings”, — quotes the press message meteorological Institute.
Sometimes, the projected wind speed up to 110 km or more per hour, especially on the North sea coast. All this is expected to occur, accompanied by heavy rains. Meteorologists urge people to caution.
