The FBI has prevented a terrorist attack in San Francisco

Moscow. 22 Dec. INTERFAX.RU — Employees of the FBI prevented a terrorist attack in San Francisco, which could occur under the Catholic Christmas, said on Friday the TV station ABC 7 News, citing FBI document.

Police have arrested a man who planned to commit a terrorist attack in one of the popular tourist destinations in San Francisco.

According to the channel, the arrested man’s name is Aaron Everitt Jameson. He lives in the Californian city of Modesto. According to the FBI documents referenced by the channel, he chose as a target that is one of the districts in San Francisco, because “been there earlier and knew that there’s a lot of people.”
