New UN sanctions will not affect the export of Russian coal through North Korea

UN, December 22. /TASS/. New sanctions against the DPRK under the US introduced the draft resolution of the Security Council (SC) of the UN, if approved, will not affect the export of Russian coal through North Korea.

The relevant provision is included in the document, a copy of which was read Thursday to the correspondent of TASS.

The draft resolution envisages a significant tightening of restrictions against Pyongyang, including a ban on oil imports into the country without the prior consent of UN security Council restrictions on the supply of almost 90% of the refined products, and will require countries to expel North Korean migrants within 12 months from the date of adoption of the resolution.
