In Melbourne the car ran over a pedestrian, is injured
MOSCOW, 21 Dec — RIA Novosti. The vehicle ran into pedestrians in the centre of the Australian city of Melbourne, there are victims, the driver was arrested, said Victoria police.
“At the moment police are at the scene on Flinders… where the car ran over several pedestrians. Police detained the driver. At the moment the exact number of victims is unknown,” says on page police on Twitter.
Police are currently attending an incident on Flinders Street between Elizabeth and Swanston streets where a vehicle has you have with a number of pedestrians. Police have arrested the driver of the car. Extent of injuries are not known at this stage. (1/2)

It is reported that the police are talking to witnesses to the incident and advised to avoid the area of the incident.
