In the optimization of staff numbers in 2017, the company laid off 2.9 thousand employees, leaving a staff of about 3 thousand people. In the next six months two-thirds of these employees will be reduced.
The company is in a difficult economic situation. By the end of this year it has to repay debts on wages of its employees. “The average monthly accrual of wages, compensation, costs about 100 million rubles, including 45 million employees working at Vostochny cosmodrome”, — said Nazarov.
In mid-October, six of builders of the Vostochny space centre went on a hunger strike because of unpaid wages. To this part of the former workers of “Dalspetsstroy” quit, others threatened not to go to work. As of October 2017, the company owed its employees about 270 million rubles. After numerous complaints was filed more than 10 administrative cases.
The Eastern spaceport in the Amur region began in 2012, still work not completed. GVSU at No. 6, remained four unimplemented contract.
In 2014-2016, built around his company, there were several scandals involving major thefts, including during the construction of the spaceport. At the end of 2016, the company was dissolved.
