Director of airline “KrasAvia” suspected of taking bribes
The General Director of airline “KrasAvia” Valery Morgan became the figurant of criminal case about bribe reception in especially large size, have informed in SK. According to investigators, he was arrested.
The court soon will consider the petition of a consequence for election of a measure of restraint in respect of the General Director of airline “KrasAvia” Valery Morgana. Previously, he was detained for receiving a bribe in especially large size, have informed RBC the representative Western-the Siberian investigatory management on transport SKR.
The money, according to investigators, the head of the “KrasAvia” took over the lobbying interests of this commercial organization to conclude contracts with the carrier in the future. In fact the incident Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under part 6 St. 290 criminal code (bribery in especially large size).

Airline “KrasAvia” is a state enterprise of the Krasnoyarsk territory. It was created in 1956 as FGUP “the Turin aviation enterprise”. After more than 40 years, in 2002, it was converted into a state enterprise, EAC “Evenkia-AVIA”. In 2007, its base was formed state-owned enterprise “KrasAvia”.
Currently, the carrier operates mainline and regional flights across Siberia and the Far East, including shift of transport of passengers and cargo.
“KrasAvia” delivers mail, food, medicines and other essential commodities in the far North, and also carries out sanitary flight, carrying urgent operations of seriously ill inhabitants of the region.
Valery Morgan headed the airline since June of last year.
