In Prague collapsed pedestrian bridge over the Vltava
PRAGUE, 2 Dec — RIA Novosti, Alexander Kuranov. Lightweight concrete bridge for pedestrians and cyclists struck in Prague in the second half of the day on Saturday, told reporters the representative of the city fire service Martin kavka.
The bridge connects the right Bank of the Vltava river with the Imperial island near the centre of the Czech capital. Experts inspected the bridge in 2011 and then rendered the verdict that the building can stand for a maximum of 5-6 years.
“The Central part of the bridge fell into the river, threatens the fall of the rest of the structure of the bridge,” said kavka.

According to him, the accident injured who was on the bridge four people who evacuated to nearby hospitals. Two of them are in serious condition.
