Oliver stone believes that a new film about Putin the Americans will open another world
The new film will tell about the views of Putin on events since he became President of Russia in 2000, said the Director.
SYDNEY, April 30. /Offset. TASS Pavel Vanichkin/. Director Oliver stone, who is currently working on a film about the Russian President Vladimir Putin, believes that the film will open Americans eyes to another world.

“Mr. Putin is one of the most important world leaders, and because the United States has declared as his enemy, the great enemy, it is very important that we hear what he wants to say,” explained his creative idea of the Director, noting that he met several times with the President of Russia. “I originally talked to him about the case (ex-employee of U.S. intelligence Edward) Snowden, and it is in the film. I think this increased confidence: he knows that I’m not overly edit”, — he added.
According to him, the new film will tell about the views of Putin on events since he became President of Russia in 2000.
Oliver stone is the Director of such films as “wall Street: Money never sleeps” (Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, 2010), “the twin Towers” (World Trade Center, 2006), “John F. Kennedy: Shots in Dallas” (JFK, 1991), “Platoon” (Platoon, 1986). Three times he received awards of the American Academy of motion picture arts “Oscar”, was also awarded prizes of the Berlin and Venetian film festivals.
In 2016, the stone released a documentary film “Ukraine in flames” about events in that country that occurred in 2014. He acted as the producer of the film and got him an interview at Putin and the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.
