Free ebooks can now be read during the trip at the ICC. The trains earned the service “Mobile library”, informs a portal of the mayor and government of Moscow.
“Now in the catalogue 200 books, among them works of Bulgakov and Dostoevsky, Rubina and Lukyanenko”, — stated in the message.
Find 30 libraries at several stations, including “locomotive”, “Izmailovo”, “Vladykino”, “District” and “Baltic”. They are photos of bookshelves with QR codes, which is encrypted link to the web page with the selected book. Reading will need to be connected to the transport network of the city Wi-Fi.
Of the classics, passengers will be available, for example, Bulgakov, Turgenev, Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Shakespeare, Balzac and Nietzsche. Also in the library you can find works by contemporary authors — Paul Sanaev, Sergey Lukyanenko, Dina Rubina, Oleg Roy, Catherine Vilmont. In addition, people can download audio books in English.
The project organised the Moscow metro, online library “Litres” and publishing group “Eksmo-AST”. All 200 books is also available on the website metro.litres.ru. The service will operate until the end of the year. To download the book to your phone or to read it online, you need to register on the website “Litres”.
