The police were asked to refrain from participating in illegal rally in Central Moscow
As explained in a press-service GU MVD of Russia in Moscow: “there is a risk of provocations aimed at violation of public order, which could lead to a threat to the personal safety of citizens.”
MOSCOW, April 29. /TASS/. Police are asking visitors of capital and Muscovites to refrain from participating in an inconsistent rally in the center of the city. About TASS reported the press service of the MIA of the Russian Federation.
“The event is illegal, and under these conditions increases the risk of provocations aimed at violation of public order, which could lead to a threat to the personal safety of citizens”, — said the press service, noting that GU MVD of Russia in Moscow will take all necessary measures to ensure law and order.
The initiators of the action was offered an alternative place to carry it out. However, the organizers continue to insist on holding the event on the specified site. The Metropolitan police once again warned the organizers about the statutory responsibility for the possible consequences of this uncoordinated actions.
Previously, the Moscow Prosecutor’s office warned against holding an unauthorized action on April 29 in the capital. As noted in Prosecutor’s office of Moscow, and its organizers were declared a warning about the inadmissibility of violation of the law. Presnensky court of Moscow on 28 April upheld the refusal to agree to the organizers the route and its implementation.
