In the reconstruction of Berlin in the Park “Patriot” involved more than a hundred stuntmen
The reconstruction also involved more than 125 military-historical clubs from Russia and foreign countries.
KUBINKA /Moscow region/, April 23. /TASS/. More than a hundred stunt men take part in military-historical reconstruction of the Berlin offensive operation of red army in Moscow Park “Patriot”, said the representative of the Russian defense Ministry.
“More than a hundred stuntmen involved in the reconstruction of the “Storming of Berlin”, is professionals of Russian Association of stuntmen, have experience of filming in movies. Used a few thousand of fireworks, laid on the entire site, which will allow to achieve the most realistic”, — said the representative office.
Historical events
As the scenario reconstruction, in April 1945, the shock of the red army broke the stubborn resistance of the enemy on the line of defense Seelow heights, and then, pursuing the retreating Wehrmacht reached the capital of Nazi Germany. At the end of the reconstruction reproduced the historical scene of the surrender of the headquarters of the military commandant of Berlin, General Weidling and hoisting the Victory banner of the 150th idritskaya infantry division over the defeated Reichstag.
The reconstruction will be played tank battles, duels fighter aircraft, as well as the actions of the units of infantry. For guests of the event deployed nine interactive thematic areas, which will help to plunge into the atmosphere of the war years – the field camp of the red army artillery crew, an exhibition of armored car and tank technology, the course of the young fighter and drugapproval of the defense Ministry
Captured German technology
All the field will be up to 30 samples of automotive and armored vehicles during the great Patriotic war: the legendary T-34, heavy tanks is-2 and KV-1, German tanks Panzerkampfwagen III, “Panther” and assault gun Sturmgeschutz III, armored cars BA-64 and Hanomag-250, and artillery. In addition, for the first time over the territory of the Park “Patriot” will air duel piston fighter aircraft La-7 and Messerschmitt.
For the reconstruction operation used a real German and Soviet armored vehicles, restored and rebuilt by reenactors, as well as equipment owned by the film concern “Mosfilm”the Representative of the defense Ministry
As told in the Ministry, the reconstruction will be used two tanks T34−85, two is-2, two self-propelled artillery guns, four multiple rocket launchers BM-13 “Katyusha” on the Soviet side. “From the “Wehrmacht” will involve four tanks PzKpfw IV, two PzKpfw III, PzKpfw VI tank, self-propelled artillery Sturmgeschtz and armored cars. The reconstruction involved more than 125 military-historical clubs from Russia and foreign countries. “The events of the final battle of the great Patriotic war in the Park “Patriot” will reproduce 1,4 thousand reenactors of the 125 military-historical clubs of Russia, Belarus, Israel, Poland, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Ukraine and Germany,” — said the defense Ministry.
The defense Ministry said that within one and a half hours before the audience will unfold the dramatic events of this military operation. “In the area of 60 thousand square meters of the troops of the 1st Belorussian front under the command of Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov will have to break a desperate defence of the last parts of the Wehrmacht, who desperately defending the approaches to Berlin”, — told in the defense Ministry.

What happens on the field will be accompanied by audiovisual explanations with archival excerpts from the original Soviet information Bureau reports, the editorials of the newspaper “Red Star” and directives of the General staff of the red Army.
The event is organized by the University “synergy” with the support of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation.
The Storming Of Berlin
The assault on the capital of Hitler’s Reich began on 25 April 1945. Forces of the 1st Ukrainian and 1st Byelorussian fronts, the city was taken in the ring, the total length of which amounted to about one hundred kilometers.
