MOSCOW, 23 APR — RIA Novosti. Two suspects in the terrorist attack in France before the election of the charges, they are taken into custody, reports Agence France Presse with reference to the Paris Prosecutor’s office.
Earlier it was reported that two men, arrested in Marseille on suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack before the election, appeared on Sunday before the court. As reported by the Prosecutor’s office initiated a preliminary investigation in connection with possible organization of a “terrorist community” and “the acquisition, possession and transportation of weapons.” According to the Ministry, the prosecution demanded pre-trial detention of suspects into custody.
According to the Agency, the suspect charged in a criminal conspiracy of a terrorist nature with the aim of preparing one or several attacks to kill people, and in the purchase, possession and transportation of weapons and explosives.
On Tuesday 18 April in Marseille in the South of France detained two suspects in the terrorist attack on the final stage of the presidential race. Two young men — 29-year-old Muhidin Merab and 23-year-old Clement Bohr — were known to French intelligence services. During the search they found a photograph machine cartridges, a newspaper with a picture of presidential candidate françois Fillon and the flag of the banned terrorist group ISIS. Were also seized at least three kilograms of explosives and several firearms.
