Theresa may promised to continue the sanctions pressure on Russia
Prime Minister Theresa may before the talks with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in London expressed support for anti-Russian sanctions.
“We will continue to exert pressure through sanctions for full implementation by Russia of the Minsk agreements”, — quotes its words “Interfax”.
Mrs may added that Britain does not recognize the annexation by Russia of the Crimea and condemns Russia’s actions in the Donbass.
Earlier, the head of the British foreign Ministry Boris Johnson said that at the meeting of the foreign Ministers of G7 countries will consider the possibility of imposing new sanctions against Russia. However, following the talks, the restrictive measures had not been implemented.
