The Turkish Parliament approved the extension of state of emergency for three months
Moscow. 18 APR. INTERFAX.RU — Turkish parliamentarians on Tuesday approved the proposal to extend the state of emergency in the country for three months, according to the newspaper Hurriyet.
The newspaper reminds that the state of emergency was introduced in the country after the failure of the military coup in July last year. Since then it has been extended three times already.
With the decision to extend the state of emergency made on the eve of the Turkish government on the recommendation of the Council of national security of the country.
