In Mosul liquidated “master sniper” IG
According to the channel Al Mayadeen, the fighter could be a native of Russia.
KUWAIT city, April 18. /Offset. TASS Pavel Prokofiev/. The Federal police of Iraq announced the elimination of “main sniper” the terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG banned in Russia) in Mosul.
As reported by TV channel Al Mayadeen, citing a source in the Iraqi police, the gunman responsible for the preparation of snipers in the IG, probably, was a native of Russia.
Earlier, the commander of the Federal police involved in the Mosul campaign, General Raed shaker jawdat the reported neutralization of the field commander of IG of Abu Hajer al-Rus, which also likely had citizenship of the Russian Federation.
Two militants were destroyed during the offensive by government forces in the Western neighborhoods of Mosul.
