More than 50% of voters voted for the amendments to the Turkish Constitution

ANKARA, April 16. /Offset. TASS Kirill Zharov/. 51.6% of voters in a referendum in Turkey has supported the package of constitutional amendments. Preliminary unofficial data processing 95% of the ballots issued to the Anatolian Agency, which along with the Central election Commission has the right to announce the results of voting.
It is noted that in Istanbul and Ankara began to defeat opponents of the amendments. In the capital, “against” expressed by 50.6% of the population with 96% of the processed ballots, in Istanbul — 51% with 99% counted votes.
