Emmanuel macron has strengthened his lead in the presidential election in France
The candidate in presidents of France, the investment banker and former Minister of the economy Emmanuel macron, who heads the movement “Forward!”, increased its lead over main rival, the leader of the party “national front” marine Le Pen. This is evidenced by the company Odoxa, published on Friday.
According to the survey, the Makron ready to vote 24.5% of respondents for marine Le Pen 23%. The projections, Le Pen has not changed since last week, while the macron increased his advantage by 1%. Third place went to the representative of the Left party and former education Minister Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the fourth candidate from the party “the Republicans” and former favorite of the race, françois Fillon.
With regard to the outcome of the second round, the polls predict a victory of Macron for any candidate occupying the second place. The most significant separation of the Makron would be the case if his rivals will be Fillon: 67% for the Macron against 33% for Fillon. If the opponent will be Le Pen, the Makron will win with 61% of the vote.
Election of the President of France are held in two rounds. The first round is scheduled for 23 April, the second on 7 may.
