Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Gennady Gatilov said in an interview with Sputnik, that Russian military and the US can quickly renew the Memorandum on the prevention of incidents in the skies of Syria.
“We hope that the renewal of the Memorandum will happen quickly, in fact, this question relates to the jurisdiction of the military. I think that their channels they will be able to quickly agree on how to revive the work of this Memorandum. In particular, this probably applies to possible adjustments,” — said Gatilov.
On the eve of President of Russia Vladimir Putin during a meeting with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson said that Russia is ready to return to the Memorandum on the prevention of incidents in Syria in case the US will confirm the purpose of the fight against terrorism.
