The TFR has revealed details of the case against the former head of Mari El Leonid Markelov
The investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) has confirmed the criminal case against the former head of Mari El Leonid Markelov, suspected of bribery. According to the CCJ, he received from the founder of the factory “Akashevskaya” more than 235 million rubles for the protection of and assistance in the disbursement of state support.
This is stated in the message Department, arrived in edition “Tapes.ru” on Thursday, April 13.
The investigation is conducted on signs of the crimes provided by articles 290 of the criminal code (“Receiving bribe”), 291 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (“bribery”) and 291.1 of the criminal code (“bribery Mediation”).
According to the investigation, Markelov received through a Trustee Natalia Kozhanov from the founder of the factory “Akashevskaya” Nicholas Krivosha a bribe in the amount of 235 million rubles for the protection of and assistance in the disbursement of state support to development of agricultural complex.
In RCDS noted that the defendants in the criminal case are detained. In the near future the consequence plans to bring charges against them and to appeal to court with the petition for election measures of restraint.
