The Prosecutor’s office in Omsk region has identified more than a thousand violations in the sphere of anti-corruption legislation following the review of income declarations filed by officials. About it reports “Russian newspaper” on Monday, April 10.
“In particular, two deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly in their declarations did not mention any additional sources of income. Another more than one million rubles underestimated the amount of earned income,” — said senior assistant Prosecutor of the Omsk region Tatyana Bulychova.
Municipal officials, according to prosecutors, made 680 violations. Almost 300 offenders are brought to disciplinary responsibility, made over 230 representations about elimination of shortcomings.
Council Deputy Gruzinskogo rural settlement isn’t reported income, deprived of the mandate, added the Agency.
On March 24 the state Duma adopted the presidential law requiring municipal officials to report annually on the income. In case of violations, the decision to dismiss the official can be made at the initiative of the Governor.
At the beginning of February deputies of the Omsk city Council has forbidden to employ as assistants to their relatives.
