Acting head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov will appoint the head of administration and head of government of the Republic of the former Deputy head of the presidential administration on domestic policy Sergey Smirnov. This was announced by Mr Brechalov during checkout to Sarapul on 7 April.
In the presidential administration Sergei Smirnov worked for two months, where he was responsible for the interaction with the Federal Assembly. Prior to that, he worked together with Alexander Brechalov in the Public chamber of the Russian Federation, where he headed the apparatus.
Alexander Brechalov was appointed acting head of the Udmurt Republic on 4 April. Political analysts believe that he will “hard work”, and the region will see interesting elections. Mister Brechalov regarded his appointment as “a challenge”.
