The Belgian air force has temporarily suspended flights to Syria

Fighter-bombers F-16 of the Belgian air force, participating in air operations in Syria under the auspices of the United States against ISIS (a terrorist group banned in Russia), had temporarily suspended the flights because of security reasons after the suspension by Russia of the Memorandum on the prevention of incidents and ensuring the safety of aviation, said on Saturday the radio Premiere.

Earlier, the Russian foreign Ministry announced that Russia is after US attacks on a government air base in Syria suspend the operation concluded with Washington’s Memorandum on the prevention of incidents and ensuring the safety of aviation operations in Syria.
The representative of the Ministry of defence of Belgium has not confirmed the information that the termination of flights due to the decision of the Russian Federation, saying that they are “suspended until new orders”, said the Agency Belga.
According to him, the representative of the Belgian military authorities, as well as American military sources were unable to say when the coalition will be resumed air operations in Syria.
