MOSCOW, April 9. /TASS/. The head of the Federation Council Committee on international Affairs Konstantin Kosachev called sabotage statement of U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley about the impossibility to find a political solution in Syria with President Bashar al-Assad at the helm.
“Calling a spade a spade, this is a direct sabotage of the efforts of the international community to start the process of political negotiations between the authorities and the opposition. The opinion of the United States reads in the ranks as moderate, and the armed opposition. And what’s the point then to go to Astana or to Geneva, will they ask?”, – the politician wrote on his official page in social network Facebook.
