In the Ramenskoye district of the Moscow region recorded outbreak of African swine fever, reports “Interfax”.
Specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor found in the enterprise “agro Konstantinovo” the violation of a number of veterinary standards and requirements. Absent heat-treatment of the feed, worked a disinfection barrier.
From African swine fever (ASF) has killed 17 adult animals and 24 pigs. Earlier, three infected pigs were sold to private hands, the buyer did not know about the disease.
On the farm goes the extra sanitization and destruction of livestock. Infected animals will be killed in a bloodless manner. Because of the virus, the enterprise may lose more than 200 animals.
This year the Rosselkhoznadzor expects more than 300 outbreaks in Russia. Most likely the risk of ASF in Mordovia, Udmurtia, Mari El, Tatarstan, the Tver and Kostroma regions.
Last week the head of the Ministry Alexander Tkachev said that the loss of the Russian farms from Achs for 10 years amounted to more than 5 billion rubles.
At the end of March the outbreak of ASF was recorded in the Irkutsk region. There’s a virus killed more than 40 animals and a quarantine was imposed.
