Six people from Central Asia detained in St. Petersburg for promoting terrorism, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the RF IC. In the investigation there is no evidence that they are associated with a terrorist who has arranged explosion in the subway. The operation carried out by the investigators together with employees of regional managements of FSB and the Russian interior Ministry and special forces of Regardie.
According to investigators, the suspects from November 2015 till present time in St. Petersburg recruited mainly his compatriots to carry out terrorist attacks and engaged them in the activities of banned terrorist organizations “Dzhebhat EN-Nusra” and “Islamic state”.
In addition, the partners sought to attract recruited to the activities of other illegal armed groups, including foreign countries.
