The artist using cardboard showed the sights from an unusual perspective

Known under the pseudonym Paperboyo English painter and photographer Rick My fancy changes known space by using figures cut from paper.

Silhouettes cut from black cardboard and turn the sights in the quaint paintings, tells My Modern Met.

Photos Maccora shows places and monuments from an unexpected point of view. Holding the figure and the camera at the right angle, Today assures us that every tiny creature is part of a much larger plan. So was born the octopus in the Coliseum, the statue of Michelangelo’s David in shorts and a Ferris wheel on the pier Santa Monica, turned yo-yo.

His work may seem very easy, but each requires serious preparation. “Let’s just say, if I’m going to new York, I print a lot of photos of the city. Then I take a pencil and draw their own ideas on the photos. And when I know something will work, I do the clipping. But I also take a scalpel and cardboard, in case I will visit the inspiration on the spot”, — said Today. His patience and persistence has paid off. He now has more than 250,000 followers on Instagram, where he publishes his fancy pictures.
